Moviments predictibles. Els moviments dels adults estan sincronitzats i amansits pels anys d'aprenentatge i socialització. És un univers repetitiu i constant en que fins i tot les variacions i les sorpreses formen part d'un guio preestablert. Un observador zenital dels moviments d'un adult no podria apreciar diferencies significatives amb els moviments que nosaltres observem de les formigues o els tèrmits. Ens movem tots a l'hora i en la mateixa direcció per camins marcats i condicionats a tal efecte. Som una massa uniforme que flueix ordenadament i disciplinadament. Els progenitors en una punta de la corda agafant-la amb fermesa i deixant-la anar intentant mantenir el control en funció d'un criteri incert. No hi ha mètode científic ni manual d'instruccions. Els infants tibant de la punta per assolir més territori. La por ajuda a sobreviure i a adaptar-se rapidament als nous escenaris que tant els infants com els pares van descobrint. Al món ja hi han més de 2.4000 milions d'usuaris d'internet. Més de mil milions de perfils de facebook, 500 milions de twitter, 800 milions de visites mensuals a youtube, 100 milions de blogs personals i més números amb molts ceros. La tendència és créixer exponencialment com una bola de neu baixant pendent avall. Ningú es capaç d'imaginar una raó per la qual l'ús d'internet disminueixi en el futur si la història de la humanitat segueix el seu camí sense cap hecatombe. És una eina de no retorn. Més del 30% de la població enganxada a una pantalla fixe o portàtil amb possibilitat d'expressar i comunicar les seves idees personals, grupals, professionals etc. Un canal personal obert directe amb el món i “sense censura” als països occidentals. Hom pot expressar les seves idees i exposar-se davant la resta de persones com decideixi. Fotos, vídeos , pensaments escrits i parlats, tot serveix per comunicar a internet. Amb mes o menys fortuna i èxit si és això el que és busca. Fa uns mesos caminat pel meu barri em va cridar l'atenció un “cartell” ( un foli A4 enganxat a la paret) que portava l'enigmàtic títol de “El pressentiment”. Dedicant uns segons amb google vaig arribar a un blog (http://elpressentiment.net) poc conegut per mi fins a aquell moment. Seguint el seu fil vaig entendre que era el mitjà d'expressió d'unes persones que volien “ fer que el pensament fos apassionant una altre vegada en el context contemporani”. Sens dubte un esforç lloable. Vaig pensar que aquest col·lectiu de persones amb un rerefons alternatiu i acostumats a difondre les seves idees els hi costava deixar enrere els mitjans tradicionals (cartell) per passar tota la seva estratègia comunicativa als mitjans digitals. Costa trencar amb els orígens encara que sigui a costa de l'ús racional del paper. In the world there are more than 2.4 billion of Internet users. No one can imagine a reason that Internet use will decreases in the future if the history of humanity continues on his way without a great disaster. It is a tool of no return. Everyone can express his ideas and expose himself to other people as he decides. Photos, videos, written and spoken thoughts, everything works in Internet to communicate. Passió per la feina i per tenir un compte de resultats triomfant. Això es el que em va transmetre aquest professional de les atraccions de fira en una festa major aquest estiu. La seva atracció presentava una curiosa temàtica barreja de l’oest americà i personatges de Disney. L'empresari s’esforçava al màxim per captar clients dins del seu públic objectiu de pares amb nens de fins a cinc anys. Condició obligatòria per sucar en un negoci tan oportunista com aquest rodeo de circumstancies. L’atracció simulava les batzegades dels braus, res d’especial, musica i moviments bruscs que feien riure als nens i participar als pares de l’alegria dels seus fills. Aquell home dominava el seu medi i aconseguia captar clients un rere l’altre. I fent-ho gaudia tant com els nens. Passió per la feina. Com a reclam executava una dansa d’indi americà de l’Empordà al ritme d’una musica tecno-country estrident. Una dansa d'autor que executava amb il·lusió i que no deixava a ningú indiferent. Un èxit clamorós amb una dignitat incontestable. El que podia ser un acte ridícul es convertia en un acte sorprenent presentat amb professionalitat i alegria. Un cop fidelitzat el client i assegut a l'atracció el disfressava i el pintava. Un fet diferencial, valor afegit. Fins i tot aconseguia que els familiars que observaven des de la tribuna de l’atracció li fessin fotos de record com si d’un personatge famós es tractes. Un cop assolida la màxima ocupació del seu negoci posava en marxa l’atracció assegurant-se un nou cicle de funcionament amb un compte d’explotació en positiu. Necessitem més líders com ell. La primavera arriba a la ciutat de Barcelona a sotragades. El mes d'abril serveix per donar la benvinguda al bon temps i al maig sembla que tothom ha oblidat l'hivern. Però el clima és capriciós i hi ha dies que juga amb la memòria de la gent portant records de setmanes passades. Amb aquesta incertesa la gradació d'indumentàries és notable. Una de les estampes clàssiques de la gent de la ciutat en aquestes dates de dubte climàtic. Es barregen tendències de tota mena amb mides, capes i llargàries que despisten a l'observador més impassible. Des de senyors amb jersei i abric fins a guiris que confonen el pla de la catedral amb la platja de fenals de Lloret de Mar. Aquest no ha estat un any gaire fred. La meva dona ho mesura en funció dels jerseis que s'ha posat i diu que aquest any no li han calgut gaires. Jo no tinc una mesura quantitativa tan exacte i només em guio per la memòria a curt termini i per les meves ganes perpetues que arribi la calor de l'estiu. Està tot just al caure. Processó de Setmana Santa a un poble de la comarca del Somontano. Una de les tantes tradicions d'aquest i d'altres pobles durant aquests dies assenyalats. Tinc ganes de fer un enquesta i preguntar a la gent perquè hi van. Creença, tradició, obligació social i anar a veure qui va podrien ser les respostes. Jo hi vaig per curiositat ja que feia molts anys que no hi anava. Em fa la sensació que aquest any la gent va de pressa i que és tracta d'enllestir una formalitat. El pas és àgil i es fan poques parades. La gent guarda silenci trencat de tant en tant per uns tambors que dona més dramatisme a l'acte. Hi ha més gent als balcons i al encreuaments dels carrers que gent participant a la processó. Nomes dues imatges, primer un Sant Cristo gros i al mig de la processó una imatge del Martiri portada pels penitents. Entro al seguici a mig recorregut i desprès de vint minuts mal comptats l'acte es dissol pacíficament a l'església del poble. Fa vint anys aquest actes eren més sentits, més duradors i més multitudinaris. Easter procession in a village in the Somontano county. I join the procession in the half of the route and after twenty minutes the act is dissolved peacefully in the church of the village. Hi ha dies que la ciutat es fa espesa i angoixant. Per molt que es camini i es busqui una sortida els edificis, els cotxes, el carrers i el brogit constant no deixen asserenar les persones. Son els moments en que hom imagina i desitja estar en un paisatge estimat lluny de la ciutat. Una font a dins d'un bosc, un camí al costat d'uns camps llaurats o una platja rodejada de pins amb olor de calma. Hi ha dies en que els avantatges(?) de viure en ciutat no serveixen per res. La gent necessita fugir per veure un horitzó nu. Una mica de distancia per oblidar els murs de la ciutat que alleugeri aquesta sensació de gàbia de corral i de niu de tèrmits que de vegades tenim els habitants de les urbs. Avui plou i fa un dia lleig a Barcelona però demà sortirà el sol. There are some days where the city is thick and oppressive. You can try to walk looking for a way out but the buildings, the cars, the streets and the constant noise do not allow people to calm down. These are the times when everyone can imagine and desire to be in a beloved landscape far away from the city. A spring inside a forest, a path besides a farmed field or a beach surrounded by pines . There are days when the benefits (?) of living in a town are good for nothing. People need to escape to see a naked horizon. A little distance to forget the city walls to alleviate the feeling, that we sometimes have the inhabitants of the city, of living in a cage or in a termite's nest . Today it's raining in Barcelona and it's an ugly day but the sun will rise tomorrow.

Si el president Zapatero i el seu govern es caracteritzaven per no complir cap promesa el nou govern del PP amb el President Rajoy al capdavant es caracteritza per fer exactament el contrari del que havia promès. Han mentit sàdicament, han enganyat als votants i ara aplica una política d'extermini de l'estat del benestar. Tothom està d'acord amb les retallades i amb la premissa bàsica de que no podem gastar més diners dels que ingressem, però no poden aprofitar aquest escenari per tocar puntals bàsics de la nostra societat. Em sembla perfecte que retallin despeses de països de nous rics però si us plau inverteixin diners per estimular i fer créixer l'economia o ens convertirem en un país d'aturats que ens passarem el dia assentats als bancs donant de menjar als coloms. Al febrer es celebra la festa major d'hivern de Barcelona que el nostre estimat ajuntament ha batejat com “La Laia”. Son les festes de Santa Eulàlia i la majoria d'activitats es fan per la canalla. Inclouen tot el catàleg de celebracions tradicionals del país com els gegants i capgrossos, cercaviles, esbarts dansaires correfocs i tota la pesca. Durant aquestes festes es fa un festival de llum on edificis de renom de la ciutat s'il·luminen de manera especial durant uns dies. Cada nit es projecten sobre la façana de l'ajuntament unes imatges que converteixen l'edifici en una mostra d'imaginació i creativitat molt agraïda. Aquestes nits de febrer està fent força fred a la ciutat però durant els quinze minuts de l'espectacle de llums i musica l'anima divaga molt lluny del clima i de la plaça de Sant Jaume. Una mica d'il·luminació serveix per canviar la imatge de l'edifici. Si això es pogués fer a l'engròs en tota la ciutat podríem dissimular alguns exemples d'arquitectura lletja i depriment que tenim a la ciutat de Barcelona. In February we celebrate the winter festival in Barcelona that our esteemed council has nicknamed "La Laia". This is the festival of Santa Eulalia and most of the activities and events are for kid's entertainment. They include the entire catalog of traditional celebrations of the country such as the giants and big-heads, parades, folk dance, correfocs and stuff like that. In "La Laia" there is a festival of light where renowned buildings of the city are particularly illuminated during that days. Every night fantastic images are projected onto the facade of the City Hall turning the building in a great show of imagination and creativity. These days of February are pretty cold in the city but within the fifteen minutes of music and light show, the soul rambles far off the climate and Sant Jaume square. A little illumination serves to change the image of the buildings. If this could be done wholesale in the city, it would be able to hide some ugly and depressing examples of architecture we have in Barcelona

Passejant pel Mall de Dubai trobo un element decoratiu que em crida l'atenció. Un grup de figures humanoides es llença al buit adoptant una postura elegant i valenta. Sembla un missatge molt adequat per aquesta ciutat. La gent té confiança i seguretat en la continuïtat del seu benestar. No passa el mateix a Europa on la gent ha perdut les esperances posades en el model conegut com Unió Europea. Els països del sud hem dilapidat els recursos aportats pel països del centre i nord d'Europa gracies a una colla de governants ineptes, sense un veritable esperit Europeista i que fins i tot han utilitzat la mentida per maquillar la malversació dels diners de tots els europeus. Els països prestataris no han pogut recuperar la inversió i han fracassat en el seu intent de crear mercats desenvolupats i estables on vendre les seves mercaderies i serveis. Els països europeus cauen del regne dels cels capitalista i son substituïts per altres economies mes rendibles i concentrades com Dubai, Xina o Rússia. Estic a la terminal 1 de l'aeroport de Barcelona esperant per començar l'últim viatge de l'any 2011. Es la zona d'embarcament C on surten els avions petits que donen la sensació d'anar d'excursió més que de viatge de feina. Estem a punt de deixar un any en que sembla que molta gent ha fet un pas enrere aclaparats per la fragilitat del nostre benestar i per la minsa qualitat dels nostres polítics. El nostre sistema és un enganyifa que tolerem perquè ningú es capaç de trobar un sistema millor per la majoria de la gent. Penso i probablement m'equivoco que hi hauria d'haver més gent amb capacitat de decisió sobre lleis i normatives. Un parlament de 50.000 persones qualificades amb sistemes de votació més àgils. I s'haurien de professionalitzar alguns dels càrrecs polítics més importants perquè gent amb criteri i experiència gestionessin els recursos i decisions que ens afecten a tots.
